CJG St. Ansgar

Die Caritas-Jugendhilfe-Gesellschaft mbH (CJG) is a large Catholic youth welfare organization in the Rhineland, which is committed to children, young people and families with a wide range of services. With six facilities and four special schools specializing in emotional and social development, the CJG offers a broad spectrum of assistance in the Cologne, Bonn, Bergheim, Hennef and Reichshof-Eckenhagen region.

The CJG offers inpatient, day-care and outpatient care as well as school-related services. These include residential groups, day groups, mother-child services, school social work and flexible help with upbringing. The services are open to all children, young people and families, regardless of religious affiliation, origin or cultural roots.

The basis of the CJG's work is a Christian image of humanity. Every person is seen as a creature willed and loved by God and has the right to appreciation and respect. The CJG supports young people in shaping their lives as independently as possible, in community with others and in harmony with creation. Under the motto "Professional work and lived Gospel", the CJG is oriented towards Christian values.

Nachhaltigkeit und Klimaschutz:

The CJG is committed to its responsibility for the planet and future generations. Sustainability and climate protection are central topics that are pursued in various areas of activity. These include measuring and reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions, reducing consumption through climate-conscious fleet design and alternative mobility concepts, environmentally conscious building management, resource-saving water consumption, supporting biodiversity, providing food grown in an environmentally friendly manner and aligning consumption with waste prevention and recycling. The CJG sensitizes young people and employees to climate protection and reducing the ecological footprint through educational projects.

The CJG attaches great importance to the quality of its work. A comprehensive quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 is continuously developed and regularly checked. This ensures binding processes and standards in all facilities and schools. The CJG is actively committed to diversity and inclusion and rejects any discrimination. The diversity of possible life plans is seen as an enrichment of the service community.
