The Deutscher Kinderschutzbund Ortsverband Lübeck e.V. is committed to the safety and well-being of children in Lübeck with the project "Hilfepunkt für Kinder – gemeinsam Lösungsfinder". The project, which is under the patronage of the mayor Jan Lindenau, aims to establish a comprehensive network of "Hilfepunkte" in the Hanseatic city.
The core of the project are the "Hilfepunkte" themselves: These are institutions such as shops, pharmacies, libraries, schools, hospitals, cinemas or cafés that have agreed to provide a safe haven for children in emergency situations. Children who are lost, scared, urgently need a toilet or have other problems can turn to these Hilfepunkte and count on the support of the staff. The Hilfepunkte are marked with a clearly visible sticker.
Mission and Values: With this project, DKSB Lübeck wants to give children in Lübeck back a piece of freedom and security so that they can go through life self-confidently and strongly. The project promotes civic courage and awareness of social responsibility in the population. It is important to the association that children can move safely in their city and find help quickly and easily if needed.
Sustainability and Commitment: DKSB Lübeck focuses on creating sustainable structures by involving local companies and institutions in the project. Through the participation of the "Hilfepunkte", a network is created that increases the safety of children in Lübeck in the long term. The association is also committed to a child-friendly city in which the needs of children are taken into account.
