The DiakonieZentrum Pirmasens is a church institution under public law, which belongs to the Diakonisches Werk der Pfalz. Under the motto "Sharing life - in all its facets," the center offers a variety of services for people in different life situations.
The core areas include the Jugendhilfe Jona, which cares for children and young people in various life situations, as well as the Living and Care area, which encompasses a wide range of services for elderly and people in need of care. This includes care facilities, outpatient care, day care and the "Living in Old Age" offer.
A special focus is on the Hospiz Haus Magdalena, which offers dignified and comprehensive care for the seriously ill and dying. Here, the self-image "Sharing life - to the very end" is lived by giving guests respect, security and safety in their last phase of life.
The DiakonieZentrum Pirmasens operates several houses in the region with its subsidiary diacon.der Verbund gGmbH, including Haus Bethanien in Pirmasens, Haus Bethesda in Thaleischweiler-Fröschen, Haus Sarepta in Contwig and Haus Kana in Zweibrücken. In addition, the center is the majority shareholder of the Ökumenischen Sozialstation Pirmasens gGmbH, which offers outpatient care.
