editThe Diakonisches Bildungszentrum für Gesundheit und Pflege gGmbH (Diabiz) is a state-recognized vocational school with many years of experience in the field of training, further education and advanced training in nursing. As an AZAV-certified educational institution, Diabiz offers a variety of educational pathways for people who are striving for a responsible activity in nursing or who want to expand their skills in this future-proof professional field.
Diabiz offers a wide range of training courses, including training as a general nurse/general nurse and as an geriatric care assistant/geriatric care assistant. These training courses provide a versatile and practical basis for a successful career in nursing.
For people already working in nursing, Diabiz offers an extensive range of further education and advanced training courses. These courses enable nurses to deepen their knowledge and skills, specialize in certain areas and improve their career prospects. The advanced training courses include, for example, qualification as an Alltagsbegleitung, Pflegebasis QN 2 and practical training.
Diabiz also supports people with foreign nursing qualifications in the recognition of their degrees in Germany. Preparatory courses and support with the knowledge test help to obtain professional recognition.
The Diakonisches Bildungszentrum für Gesundheit und Pflege gGmbH was founded by the Evangelische Stadtmission Freiburg e. V., the Evangelische Sozialwerk Müllheim e. V. and the Evangelische Diakoniekrankenhaus Freiburg. These shareholders are diaconal companies with a long tradition that align their actions with a Christian attitude in which people are the focus.
Diabiz attaches importance to a high quality of training and individual support for the participants. A dedicated and dynamic team makes the nursing profession exciting and interesting even in theory. Training in nursing offers a wide range of development opportunities, both medically and in terms of care, as well as interpersonally.
