DRK-Landesverband Sachsen-Anhalt e.V.

The DRK Landesverband Sachsen-Anhalt e. V. is part of the national Red Cross Society and the international Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. In accordance with the Red Cross principles – Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity and Universality – the association is committed to people in emergency situations, both in Germany and worldwide.

The range of services offered by DRK Landesverband Sachsen-Anhalt e. V. is broad and includes:

• Senior citizen and care services: Outpatient care, day care, nursing homes, short-term care, assisted living, dementia care, emergency call systems and more.
• Health and prevention: Transportation services, health programs, ambulance transport and spa and recreation facilities.
• Child, youth and family support: Babysitting training, daycare centers, assistance with education, youth work and pregnancy counseling.
• Assistance for people with disabilities: Counseling, outpatient assisted living, transportation services and leisure activities.

• Subsistence support: Clothing stores, clothing containers and debt counseling.
• Tracing service: Support in the search for missing persons.
