École Française de Hambourg e.V.

The École Française de Hambourg – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is an educational institution recognized by the French Ministry of Education and integrated into the network of the Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Étranger (AEFE).

The school offers a comprehensive range of educational opportunities from the École Maternelle (kindergarten) to the Grundschule (École Élémentaire). The offer is complemented by the "Kita" and the "GBS" (Ganztägige Bildung und Betreuung an Schulen), which ensure comprehensive care before and after lessons.

The École Française de Hambourg is run by a private German support association and is recognized by the city of Hamburg as a "Ersatzschule". Since August 1, 2020, the École Française de Hambourg has been operating in its current form, after previously being part of the Lycée Français de Hambourg Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (LFH).

Particular attention is paid to promoting German-French relations. The students of the Grundschule have the opportunity to continue their education in the French-speaking branch of the Deutsch-Französisches Gymnasium (DFG), which enables a seamless transition and preparation for the German-French Abitur.

The École Française de Hambourg values inclusion and offers an anti-bullying program (pHARe). A digital project complements the educational offer and prepares students for the challenges of the modern world.

The school also offers afternoon care (GBS), which ensures comprehensive care for the students.
