"Ein Weidenkörbchen für Kinder" is a non-profit company that is committed to providing high-quality, needs-based and family-oriented childcare. Since the founding of the first daycare center in Friesoythe in 2006, the company has steadily developed and now operates several daycare centers in various municipalities and districts.

The focus of the work is on promoting and supporting families and children, with the compatibility of family and career playing a central role. "Ein Weidenkörbchen für Kinder" offers a familiar environment characterized by empathy, patience and respect. The facilities are designed to be child-friendly and offer children space to move freely and gain their own experiences.

The company's offerings cover children up to the age of 14. In addition to the daycare centers, "Ein Weidenkörbchen für Kinder" offers recreational experience groups and workshops, for example in the area of forest and outdoor activities. The "weißen Haus", a small educational center, also offers educational opportunities for employees and parents.

A special feature of the educational work is the diversity through bilingual building blocks. In bilingual daycare centers, the Spanish language is integrated into projects and daily routines by native speakers. Cooperations with daycare centers in Spain and Poland support this bilingual project.

The pedagogical work is based on the "Orientierungsplan für Bildung und Erziehung im Elementarbereich niedersächsischer Tageseinrichtungen für Kinder" (Orientation Plan for Education and Upbringing in the Elementary Sector of Lower Saxony Day Care Centers for Children). The goals are to promote, support and strengthen the age-appropriate development of children in various areas.

An important aspect is the integration of children with disabilities. "Ein Weidenkörbchen für Kinder" is convinced that every child should be accepted into the community in their uniqueness with their individual needs. In the nursery groups, children with and without disabilities can play, learn and make their first social contacts with each other.

The facilities of "Ein Weidenkörbchen für Kinder" meet the quality requirements in accordance with the Kinderbetreuungsgesetz (Childcare Act) of Dutch childcare and are financially supported by the Netherlands if required.
