Evangelischer Verein Sonnenhof e.V.

The Evangelischer Verein Sonnenhof e.V. is comprehensively involved in the areas of assistance for education and integration assistance, especially for people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). The association operates the Evangelische Kinderheim Sonnenhof and offers a variety of services to support children, adolescents and families in difficult situations.

The core services include FASD shared apartments and Assisted Living (BEW) for people with FASD. An FASD counseling center offers information, training and advice on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. Diagnostics are not offered.

The association relies on the social and financial commitment of individuals and companies to realize its work with children and young people. Donations, both donations in kind and financial support, enable the Sonnenhof to offer support services such as sports club memberships, tutoring, music and riding lessons, and computer courses. In-house support services such as yoga groups, a theater group and a chess club are also made possible through donations.
