International Co-operative Studies e.V. (ICS) is a network between universities and business that has been dedicated to supporting students since 1999. As a non-profit association, ICS supports high-achieving students through the practice-integrated ICS model, which creates an ideal combination of theory and practice.

The ICS model is aimed exclusively at above-average students who are nominated by their faculties. It combines classical studies with intensive practical phases in partner companies, which optimally prepares students for their career entry. The high proportion of practical experience enables students to gain valuable professional experience during their studies and to develop as specialists.

The main mission of ICS is to open up excellent prospects for students and to create sustainable added value for all participants. ICS acts with enthusiasm and reliability to promote the well-being of students, universities and partner companies.

ICS offers students and alumni a network for exchange, further education and fun. Soft skills and competencies are expanded through workshops and events. The ICS-Academy offers additional opportunities for personal and professional development.

ICS sees itself as a central operative interface between universities, companies and students. The association coordinates and organizes all relevant dates and professionally contributes its skills as a non-profit service provider. The close cooperation with committed companies has a positive effect on the reputation of the partner universities and faculties.

ICS strives to continuously develop the ICS model and adapt it to the changing framework conditions. The members of the association, including companies, associations, universities and faculties, jointly assume responsibility for the development of the association and the funding models.

ICS promotes the recruitment of highly qualified specialists and supports the transfer of knowledge between research, teaching and business.
