GbF Aschaffenburg

The Gesellschaft zur beruflichen Förderung Aschaffenburg mbH (GbF) is a traditional and innovative service provider in the field of vocational training in the Bavarian Lower Main region. For many years, the GbF has been committed to supporting and promoting people on their way into the labor market in the Aschaffenburg, Miltenberg and surrounding areas.

The GbF's range of services is broad and aimed at various target groups, including pupils, young people, young adults, the long-term unemployed, rehabilitation patients and refugees. The GbF offers a comprehensive range of measures and projects tailored to the individual needs and challenges of the participants.

Core areas of the GbF:

• Schools: Career guidance, career entry support, school and individual support/participation assistance
• Vocational preparation: Preparation for starting an apprenticeship, also specifically for rehabilitation patients and with a vocational integration year for young refugees
• Training: Supra-company training in cooperative and integrative form, especially for rehabilitation patients
• Training support: Support during training, e.g. through assisted training
• Training/qualification/courses: Offers for vocational integration, integration coaching and activation
• Projects: Implementation of various projects to promote vocational integration
• Integration of refugees: Language courses and preparation for the labor market
• Outpatient assistance: Support in everyday life

Mission and Values:

The GbF's goal is to motivate people and provide them with the necessary skills to successfully enter and assert themselves in the labor market. The GbF attaches great importance to individual and needs-oriented support that builds on the strengths and potential of the participants.

Sustainability:

The GbF is also committed to sustainability. One example of this is the "MainSecond Kaufhaus" in Obernburg, a second-hand department store that offers well-preserved clothing and other items at reasonable prices. By reusing products, the MainSecond Kaufhaus makes an important contribution to conserving resources and avoiding waste. The GbF pays attention to the quality of the donations in order to offer a great selection and use resources sustainably.

The GbF is an important partner for companies, authorities and other organizations in the region. Through close cooperation with these partners, the GbF can optimally adapt its offers to the needs of the labor market and open up REAL opportunities for a successful professional future for its participants.
