    GeWoSüd is a Berlin housing cooperative steeped in tradition that has existed for over 100 years. With around 2,600 apartments at twelve locations in various districts of the city, GeWoSüd offers its over 5,000 members a diverse range of living space, from old buildings to modern new buildings.

    As a cooperative, GeWoSüd differs from classic landlords. The residents are not only tenants, but also members of the cooperative and thus participate in the economic success of the company. This model enables GeWoSüd to create affordable and livable living space while offering an attractive environment and needs-based services.

    In addition to pure apartment rentals, GeWoSüd's offerings also include guest apartments, laundry rooms (exclusively for GeWoSüd members), neighborhood meeting places and event rooms. A lunch menu is offered in the "Café am See". The cooperative is also actively involved in the neighborhoods and promotes neighborhood initiatives.

    An important aspect of the corporate philosophy is sustainability. GeWoSüd is aware of its responsibility towards the environment and is actively committed to preserving green oases in the city. For example, members and friends of the cooperative can donate as part of the "Mein Baum" campaign to maintain and expand the tree population in the Lindenhof.
