    The Hanauer Straßenbahn GmbH (HSB) is a central player in public transport in Hanau and the surrounding area. It offers a comprehensive range of bus connections and on-demand shuttle services to ensure the mobility of citizens.

    The company operates an extensive bus network that connects the city center with the districts and the surrounding area. A particular focus is on connecting important points such as the main train station, Freiheitsplatz and cultural facilities such as the amphitheater during the Brüder Grimm Festspiele. In addition to classic bus services, the HSB offers a flexible on-demand shuttle service called "mainer" in Großauheim, Wolfgang and Klein-Auheim, which can be ordered via app or telephone and serves around 300 stops.

    The HSB is committed to environmentally friendly mobility. By using buses that can replace many cars, and initiatives such as using rainwater for bus washing and photovoltaic systems on the vehicle halls, the company actively contributes to reducing CO2 emissions. The driving personnel are also trained in fuel-saving driving techniques.
