High Performance Battery (HPB) is an innovative company based in Teufen, Switzerland, specializing in the development and production of revolutionary solid-state batteries. Founded by Prof. Dr. Günther Hambitzer, Dr. Sebastian Heinz and Dr. Thomas Lützenrath, the technology is based on over 30 years of comprehensive basic research on battery aging.

HPB has developed the world's first series-ready solid-state battery, the heart of which is formed by a chemical reaction within the battery cell.

• Global expansion: HPB plans to build Gigafactories in various regions, starting in Switzerland, in order to establish a global presence and become independent of Asian dependency.
