Aktion Kleiner Prinz is a non-profit organization that has been committed to helping children in need worldwide since 1993. Inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's "The Little Prince", the association has dedicated itself to the guiding principle "You are responsible, forever, for what you have tamed."
The association supports concrete, comprehensible projects in emergency, war and crisis areas. The focus is on ensuring survival, food, shelter, health and education for children. The projects are selected according to strict criteria: local and reliable partners on site, acute aid, sustainability and transparency. Individual cases are excluded from funding.
The main activities include the financing of aid projects, the organization of aid transports and the implementation of the annual Christmas parcel campaign, in which thousands of parcels are sent to needy children in Eastern Europe. Donations in kind are accepted and either sold at the association's own flea market or passed on to partner organizations in crisis areas.
Aktion Kleiner Prinz works exclusively on a voluntary basis and attaches great importance to transparency and low administrative costs. The association has continuously held the DZI donation seal since 2002. Funds are raised through donations, campaigns and membership fees.
The association is always looking for committed people who would like to get involved as donors, sponsoring members or voluntary helpers.
