Die Lebenshilfe Düsseldorf e.V. is a non-profit association that has been committed since 1960 to the equal participation and self-determination of people with intellectual disabilities and their families. As a self-help, parents' and professional association, the organization offers a wide range of services and support, which extend over all phases of life - from early intervention to differentiated living and leisure activities to well-founded advice and assistance. With a variety of projects in the Düsseldorf urban area, the Lebenshilfe creates spaces in which people with disabilities can be individually supported and socially included.
The focus of the work of the Lebenshilfe Düsseldorf is the vision of an inclusive society in which people with disabilities experience unrestricted participation in social and professional life.
