The Lebenshilfe Seelze e.V. is a social service provider established since 1966, which, with around 550 specialists, is committed to more than 1,200 people with disabilities in all phases of life. As a modern social enterprise, the Lebenshilfe offers a wide range of support and promotion services that are individually tailored to the needs of people with special care needs[1][4][5].
The range of services includes professional integration, workshops for people with disabilities, vocational training areas and a variety of services such as garden and landscape maintenance, wood and metal processing, assembly services as well as food and catering. With these offers, the Lebenshilfe Seelze not only creates jobs, but also promotes the largely self-determined and inclusive lifestyle of the people it supports[9][10][7].
The main mission of the Lebenshilfe Seelze is to accompany people with disabilities of all ages, to enable them to participate in social life and to strengthen their self-determination. The organization attaches great importance to appreciation, respect and individual support in an inclusive environment. The Lebenshilfe foundation has been supporting this mission since 2015 through additional funding measures[2][5][7].
Sustainability and socio-ecological awareness are integral parts of the work.
