The Lebenshilfe-Werk Weimar-Apolda e.V. is committed to the inclusion of people with support needs in society and accompanies them on their way to a self-determined life in the regions of Weimar, Apolda, Weimarer Land and Sömmerda.
The association's range of services is broad and includes offers for all areas of life:
A particular concern of the Lebenshilfe-Werk is the creation of jobs and training positions for people with disabilities. The workshops in Weimar and Apolda offer a variety of activities that correspond to the individual skills and interests of the employees. The Werkstatt Apolda is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
The Lebenshilfe-Werk is also actively involved in commemorative work. The inclusive memorial project "1000 Buchen" commemorates the victims of National Socialism and sends a signal against forgetting. Tree sponsorships and joint planting campaigns create a living path of remembrance. The project was awarded the Thuringian Democracy Prize in 2023.
The Lebenshilfe-Werk Weimar-Apolda e.V. is always looking for committed specialists and helpers who want to work for the inclusion of people with disabilities. The association offers attractive working conditions and diverse development opportunities.
The association operates its own foundation that supports projects and initiatives to promote people with disabilities. Volunteers are also very welcome and can get involved in various areas.
The Lebenshilfe-Werk attaches great importance to good cooperation with its customers and partners. Regular feedback enables the further development of the offers and the adaptation to the individual needs of the people.
