    ÖkoNet gGmbH is a non-profit company dedicated to social participation through work and education. With a focus on ecology, diversity and health, ÖkoNet offers people with difficult access to the labor market and long-term unemployed a low-threshold entry into a regulated working life as well as training and further education opportunities.

    The company operates various divisions that combine ecological and social goals. These include the waste management company Wertstoff Recycling West (WRW), which sorts and dismantles waste electrical equipment to recover recyclable materials, and the Bioland-Gärtnerei rhizom, which grows organic vegetables and herbs. In the area of ​​gardening and landscaping (GaLaBau), green spaces are designed and maintained, and playgrounds are built and maintained.

    ÖkoNet attaches great importance to ecological action in all fields of employment. Through near-natural design, organic gardening and environmentally sound recycling, the company contributes to environmental and climate protection.

    Another important goal is the promotion of diversity and individual development opportunities. ÖkoNet is committed to equal treatment and tolerance and offers adapted working hours for people with family obligations. Physical or mental peculiarities are taken into account, and workplaces are individually designed.
