Pinel gGmbH is a non-profit organization and stands for the Pinel-Verbund, an initiative for the mentally ill. Since its beginnings in community-based work in Berlin, Pinel has offered people with mental illnesses a wide range of outpatient services.

Pinel gGmbH is committed to providing comprehensive and life-world-oriented support for people with mental illnesses. The aim is to promote participation in social life and improve the quality of life of those affected.
A particular concern is the examination of the history of Nazi "Euthanasia" and remembrance of the victims. Pinel gGmbH supports initiatives such as the Gedenkort T4 memorial site and the Stolpersteine and contributes to education with the "Killing out of Conviction" exhibition.
Pinel gGmbH is a member of the Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband Berlin and is committed to transparency and responsible action. The organization supports the Grüne Schleife, a symbol for mental health.
