VARIUS Werkstätten Lebenshilfe Rhein- Kreis Neuss gGmbH

VARIUS Werkstätten are a recognized workshop for people with disabilities, belonging to Lebenshilfe Rhein-Kreis Neuss gemeinnützige GmbH. At various locations in Rhein-Kreis Neuss, almost 700 employees with support needs are given the opportunity to participate in working life. Around 170 employees support them in this. The focus is always on the person.

The workshops offer a variety of work areas, including wood and metal processing, printing and bookbinding services, electrical assembly, gardening and landscaping, packaging and assembly, textile service, and gastronomic offerings such as a bistro and a Kochwerk. Own products, such as the ergonomically shaped Relaxliege, are manufactured and sold in the workshops.

VARIUS Werkstätten are committed to the professional education and promotion of their employees. The goal is to enable the transition to the general labor market, for example through company-integrated workplaces.

An important aspect of the corporate philosophy is sustainability. VARIUS Werkstätten rely on regional food companies and fairly traded products in the bistro and Unverpacktladen. A climate adaptation concept, which is funded by the BMUV, is currently being implemented. The workshops strive to minimize their ecological footprint and contribute to climate protection.
