The Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund Stuttgart GmbH (VVS) is the mobility service provider for the Stuttgart region. As a contact for passengers, transport companies and politicians, we actively shape the future of sustainable mobility.

Our core mission is to create and market an attractive and integrated offer in local public transport (ÖPNV). This includes S-Bahns, local trains, Stadtbahns, buses and the rack and cable car. The VVS area extends over Stuttgart and the surrounding districts of Böblingen, Esslingen, Göppingen, Ludwigsburg and the Rems-Murr-Kreis.

Our core services:

Integrated timetables and tariffs: We offer a comprehensive route network with coordinated timetables and uniform tariffs that enable seamless use of all means of transport.
Ticket offers: From the KurzstreckenTicket to the Deutschland-Ticket, we offer a wide range of tickets for occasional and frequent travelers, students, senior citizens and companies. The tickets are available through various channels, including ticket machines, bus drivers and the VVS-App.
VVS-App: Our app offers convenient door-to-door timetable information, real-time information, city and route maps, and the ability to buy HandyTickets.
Innovative mobility solutions: With the VVS-Rider, we supplement classic public transport with on-demand services that can be booked flexibly and according to demand.
Information and advice: We provide comprehensive information about our offer and are available to passengers in the VVS-Infothek and via various channels for questions and concerns.
