The VVW pays particular attention to the digitalization of its services. In addition to ticket purchases, the VVW app also offers real-time timetable information, a live map for tracking buses and trains, and a CO2 calculator for determining the environmental impact of the journey.
The VVW is committed to sustainable mobility in the Rostock region. By promoting public transport (ÖPNV), it contributes to reducing traffic jams, air pollution and noise pollution. The VVW also supports projects to improve accessibility in public transport in order to enable all people to participate equally in mobility.
