VIELFALT e.V., founded in April 2013, is an innovative association that combines nature conservation, regional development and social inclusion. As a unique model in Baden-Württemberg, it integrates the functions of the PLENUM office and the Landschaftserhaltungsverband (LEV) and has over 70 members from municipalities, agriculture, nature conservation, tourism, trade and social institutions.[1][2][7]
The association supports nature conservation-oriented regional development through advice, funding management and the provision of resources such as food for projects and nature conservation measures.[4]
Important pillars are:
These activities complement the work of the Landratsamt Tübingen and promote the marketing of products produced in an environmentally friendly manner.[4][5]
Die Mission von VIELFALT e.V. lautet: Sustainable preservation of the outstanding landscape of the Landkreis Tübingen – with orchards, near-natural forests, flower-rich meadows and the Neckartal – through networked regional development. The association creates opportunities for innovative projects by closely linking nature conservation, agriculture, tourism and social organisations.[1][2][5]
Core values are inclusion, diversity and sustainability: Where possible, people with disabilities, mental illnesses or the long-term unemployed are involved in projects to enable participation in working life and to combine nature conservation with social integration.[2][5][8]
VIELFALT e.V. is driving forward-looking sustainability initiatives that protect biodiversity, species richness and cultural landscapes.[1][9]
The association is managed by an office, a board of directors (Chairman: Landrat Joachim Walter), an advisory board and a general meeting, which ensures a stable, broad base.[6]
Through this holistic approach, VIELFALT e.V. is positioning itself as a driving force for a liveable, inclusive region in which people, nature and the economy work together harmoniously. (approx. 2480 characters)[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
