About Verein für Sozialpädagogische Modelle e.V.

The Verein für Sozialpädagogische Modelle e.V. (VSM) was primarily active in the field of educational assistance. Since August 1, 2020, the VSM has transferred its operational facilities and services to VSM – Kinder- und Jugendhilfe gGmbH. This included outpatient educational and integration assistance, inpatient and semi-inpatient educational assistance, as well as inpatient and semi-inpatient integration assistance.

Currently, the association is focusing on its role as a sponsoring association. In this function, the VSM supports socio-educational projects that serve the development of young people.

The former offers of the VSM included:

Ambulante Erziehungshilfen: Support for families and young people in their living environment.
Mädchenwohngruppe Haus Homburger Straße: Inpatient care for girls.
Sozialtherapeutische Einrichtung - Nied: Full-time facility for mentally disabled children and adolescents.
WiTA Therapeutische Wohnmöglichkeit: Living and integrated therapy for young women.
Betreutes Wohnen: Support for young people and young adults on their way to independence.
Sozialpädagogische Lernhilfe: Support for children and young people with learning difficulties.

The VSM e.V. attached importance to the protection of personal data and implemented technical and organizational security measures to protect it.

The association is a member of the Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband.
