The Verein für Sozialpädagogische Modelle e.V. (VSM) was primarily active in the field of educational assistance. Since August 1, 2020, the VSM has transferred its operational facilities and services to VSM – Kinder- und Jugendhilfe gGmbH. This included outpatient educational and integration assistance, inpatient and semi-inpatient educational assistance, as well as inpatient and semi-inpatient integration assistance.
Currently, the association is focusing on its role as a sponsoring association. In this function, the VSM supports socio-educational projects that serve the development of young people.

The association is a member of the Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband.
