The Wilhelmshavener Spar- und Baugesellschaft eG (SPAR + BAU) is the largest housing cooperative in Northwest Lower Saxony with over 10,000 members and around 3,700 rental apartments, and a significant player in the Wilhelmshaven housing market. Since its founding in 1893, the focus has been on providing good, secure and socially responsible housing for its members.

SPAR + BAU offers its members attractive rental apartments and parking spaces. Trademarks are high structural quality, exceptional service and a friendly atmosphere. As a cooperative, it offers its members lifelong right of residence, fair rents and the opportunity to participate in decision-making. The focus is always on the interests of the members, not profit maximization.

In addition to providing housing, SPAR + BAU is committed to shaping the Wilhelmshaven cityscape through modernizations and architecturally appealing new buildings. An example of this is the Wiesbadenbrücke housing project, which enables urban living directly on the water.

SPAR + BAU offers its members extensive services, including guest apartments, a 24-hour emergency service, trailer rental and the option of key storage. Trips and excursions are also offered in cooperation with partners.

The cooperative operates successfully and invests in the maintenance and modernization of its properties as well as in new construction projects. A team of real estate professionals takes care of the concerns of the tenants.
