Behind the trends are real teams – and occupations where your work makes a difference.
Explore occupations in the indexThe baito Index evaluates all postings on baito every week – jobs with social or environmental impact at impact-oriented employers, recorded since January 2023. The figures describe the supply of jobs on baito, not the German labour market as a whole.
The basis are weekly snapshots of the posting data. Recent weeks are marked as “provisional” because late updates can still change them; retroactively computed weeks render muted.
Not every role ends up on baito. We map each role to ESCO, the EU's occupation taxonomy, and assign it to one of four tiers. We show impact roles and supporting roles. Roles outside our focus, and roles that don't fit our values, we don't list. So the figures here cover the roles we show.
You'll find more context on individual numbers in the data stories.
