To secure our economic stability and make informed business decisions, we are looking for you to join our Controlling & Accounting team. We record, analyze, and manage all financial key figures and ensure reliable bookkeeping – precise, forward-looking, and always in service of our sustainable growth goals.

Become part of our team in Berlin as a Tax Specialist (m/f/d), working full-time or part-time, and join us in our mission: To sustainably generate renewable energy. So that the Earth remains habitable.

Your Responsibilities

• You will prepare tax calculations and tax planning, carry out tax filings and declarations for German group companies, and be responsible for the preparatory work and support for annual closing activities.
• You will manage tax and operational audits from fact-finding to the final discussion, act as a point of contact for external consultants and authorities, and coordinate, monitor, and ensure compliance with all tax deadlines.
• You will process and clarify VAT issues within the scope of the daily business of the operational companies and will be significantly involved in the development and implementation of tax optimization opportunities.
• You will support national and international special projects and provide tax advice on contract design and transactions.
• You will always keep an eye on optimizing tax processes (including the setup and expansion of tax compliance management systems and tax guidelines).

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed your university degree with a focus on taxation (or equivalent, e.g., specialist lawyer (m/f/d) for tax law).
• You have several years of professional experience in a comparable position.
• You possess sound knowledge of tax law (especially expertise in the taxation of partnerships, business assets, co-entrepreneurship, transfer of assets, changes in ownership, etc.).
• You are familiar with the preparation of special business assets, special balance sheets, and supplementary balance sheets, as well as double-tiered partnerships.
• You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• You enjoy working in a team and convince with your organized and independent way of working.
