Stellenbeschreibung

The working student inside the GIS-team is supporting the sourcing, maintenance, and provision of geographical data required within BD Germany. The role also includes active involvement in identifying suitable areas for large-scale PV and BESS projects, obtaining landowner information, and creating maps for acquisition and contractual purposes.

Support GIS-based screenings for large-scale hybrid PV+BESS projects using QGIS, ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online
Assist with sourcing, maintaining and preparing geographical data
Support the ordering, processing and provision of landowner and parcel information
Create and update maps for acquisition, planning and contractual purposes
Help maintain GIS databases and structure project-related geodata
Support the preparation of reliable and traceable map material
Assist with online tools such as ArcGIS Online and the internal CRM system
Support the GIS team in day-to-day tasks and further GIS-related activities
Conduct research on publicly available geodata and support data requests from public authorities where required
take part in assessing and deepening the implementation of AI features for GIS purposes

Qualifikationen

Enrolled Bachelor’s or Master’s student in geography, geoinformatics, spatial planning, environmental planning, surveying, renewable energies or a related GIS field
