With over 60 services and facilities and around 3,000 employees, the Diakonie Ruhr offers a wide range of support and assistance in Bochum, Witten, Herne, Dortmund, Lünen and Kamen.

The core areas of the Diakonie Ruhr include:

• Elderly Care: Comprehensive services for a dignified life in old age, from outpatient care to day care to inpatient facilities and service living.
• Disability Assistance: Support and promotion of people with mental and multiple disabilities to enable them to live a self-determined life and social participation.
• Addiction Assistance: Counseling, support and rehabilitation for people with addictions.
• Refugee Assistance: Support for refugees in integrating and coping with their everyday lives.
