    The Hof Schulenberg – Heilpädagogische Lebensgemeinschaft e.V. is a non-profit youth welfare institution with many years of experience since 1986, located in a natural, rural environment in Huntlosen. The spacious half-timbered house with modern, individually designed single rooms offers children and adolescents a sheltered space in which they can develop safely. The former farm with 5.5 hectares of forest and meadowland, on-site animal husbandry (horses, pigs, chickens, bees, sheep) and diverse play and exercise opportunities promotes an intensive and varied experience of nature, which is part of the pedagogical concept.

    The main mission of Hof Schulenberg is the comprehensive curative education support of children and adolescents during their development into young adults. The care is flexible in order to ensure individual support, assistance and independence. It ranges from intensive care and residential group care to accompanied partial autonomy in apartments and external shared apartments. The focus is on the gradual detachment from the close support system in order to enable the best possible integration into an independent life.

    Sustainability and resource awareness are deeply rooted in everyday life on the farm. Living with and from nature on the extensive grounds not only promotes responsible handling of animals and the environment, but also strengthens social skills and personal resilience. In addition, the natural lifestyle contributes to holistic development. The farm's own beekeeping, animal husbandry and gardening offer meaningful activities and support ecological cycles.

    The professional team of 11 pedagogical specialists and housekeeping staff ensures individual and qualified care through professional expertise, versatile therapeutic offers (occupational therapy, music lessons, individual and small group work) as well as craft know-how. The infrastructure is diverse: In addition to the main building, there are modern outbuildings, a heated playhouse, a riding and soccer field, a tree house and a campfire site, which create space for experiences, exercise and social interaction.
