The Kronberg Academy is an internationally renowned cultural institution that has been active in Kronberg im Taunus since its founding in 1993. It offers young, highly gifted musicians a platform for training and promotion on the instruments Violine, Viola, Violoncello and Klavier.
The Kronberg Academy is inspired by Pablo Casals and is guided by the conviction that music can provide impulses for meaningful cooperation - both for music and for people and the earth. It promotes not only musical education, but also exchange and networking between different generations and cultures.
The academy places a strong focus on the sustainability of its musical education and is committed to cultural diversity and collaboration. The support association with over 2,000 members supports the work of the academy through voluntary work and donations. In addition, the musical education of children and young people is supported by the Emanuel Feuermann Konservatorium.
The Kronberg Academy brings its students together with renowned artists who pass on their experiences and values. The artistic advisory board includes well-known personalities such as Marta Casals Istomin and Christoph Eschenbach. The academy was transferred to the legal form of a non-profit foundation in 2004, which further expands the promotion of young musicians.
