About NABU-Stiftung Nationales Naturerbe
The NABU-Stiftung Nationales Naturerbe is a charitable foundation operating under the umbrella of the Naturschutzbund Deutschland (NABU). Since its establishment in 2002, the organization has been dedicated to the long-term conservation of ecologically valuable land across Germany. By purchasing and securing these areas, the foundation prevents development and intensive forestry. This creates essential refuges for endangered species, transforming lands into protected nature paradises that serve as permanent heritage.
