TERRA MATER e.V. Umwelt- und Tierhilfe has been actively committed to animal welfare and environmental protection since 1996. The organization operates specialized rescue stations in Lustadt, Guben, and Graben-Neudorf, where a dedicated team of animal caretakers, apprentices, volunteers, and those completing a Voluntary Ecological Year provide round-the-clock support for a wide variety of animals, ranging from pets to wild species. Beyond direct rescue and medical care, ecological education is a core pillar of the organization's mission, contributing significantly to UN SDG 15 (Life on Land).
