Develop, adapt, and execute communications content, strategies and activities that showcase the impact of our work for funding partners and audiences, Suggest ideas for videos, social media content and other communications materials that showcase the partnerships and promote HRW’s work, Liaise with external partners on communications needs, plans, and reviews, and with internal stakeholders on content review, translations, distribution, and tracking., Monitor and identify opportunities within HRW to deliver communications activity, such as news releases, videos, photos, campaigns, social media posts, and other content of relevance to engage a broad audience on human rights issues, Report back on communications efforts and media and social media reach, Coordinate the adaptation of editorial products to different languages, to widen reach of HRW content and also build the profile of our partnerships, Work with the Multimedia team to research and develop multimedia products that will further HRW’s objectives, Advise team members on how to make complex ideas simple and engaging through effective writing skills and visually compelling video and other content, Collaborate with HRW Media and Development departments to develop communications plans, Manage and prioritize multiple projects with attention to all details both in creative production and management of the work, Deliver outputs and performance reports in a timely manner and be consistent with the agreed strategy and priorities of the Media and Development Department, Actively seek to incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion values and initiatives into multimedia, including collaborating with global partners and consultants, Manage content distribution, logging, archiving footage, and other tasks related to production, Attend donor communications related events and meetings, Carry out other duties as required
