Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain complex data models and architecture solutions to meet the organisation's needs.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
Develop data integration strategies, including data flow and ETL pipelines, to connect diverse data sources.
Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are adhered to across all data solutions.
Lead initiatives to modernise data infrastructure, focusing on cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure for scalability.

Person Specification

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Architect, with a strong background in designing and implementing data platforms.
Experience with big data technologies like Apache Hadoop, Spark, or similar
Experience with Python for building data pipelines and automating ETL processes
Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing solutions.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed data storage systems.
Strong knowledge of data modelling techniques, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration tools.
Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
