Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) - remote GER

Your profile

You have several years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) or in a comparable role and have a solid understanding of modern testing methods and software development processes. AnISTQB certification (at least Foundation Level) is required for this position; additional certifications are a plus. Practical experience with test automation is a key requirement for this position. You have experience with established test automation frameworks and can independently create, develop, and maintain automatedUI and API tests. You have a strong technical understanding and are comfortable working independently in technical environments. Working with the console and developer tools, creating and manipulating technical test data and master data, as well as technically analyzing and isolating defects, are second nature to you. You are also familiar withAPI and interface testing. You see QA as more than simply executing tests – you actively contribute to shaping quality. You challenge requirements, independently identify risks and edge cases, and get involved in refinements at an early stage to addresstestability, completeness, and quality risks from the outset. You are familiar withagile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and have a good understanding of software development processes. You work in an analytical, structured, and independent manner and communicate confidently with different stakeholders and the development team. Ideally, you also have basic SAP knowledge, experience with performance or security testing, as well as monitoring and observability approaches. A basic understanding of modern security approaches, such asthreat modeling, is a plus. You are interested in the continuous development of modern QA methods and in further developingAI-supported testing approaches in the future.
