About the Role
The Senior Manager, Leadership & Performance Development is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive leadership and performance development programs that align with Patagonia's mission, values, and business objectives. This role will partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify leadership needs, assess talent, and build capabilities across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and implement innovative leadership development programs, including curriculum, workshops, and experiential learning opportunities.
- Create and manage performance management processes and tools that foster continuous feedback, development, and accountability.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify high-potential employees and develop targeted leadership acceleration plans.
- Develop and deliver training programs on leadership competencies, performance management, and talent development for employees at all levels.
- Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of leadership and performance development initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in leadership development, organizational psychology, and talent management.
- Manage external vendor relationships for specialized training or assessment tools as needed.
- Contribute to the overall HR strategy and talent management initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in leadership development, talent management, or organizational development roles.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering leadership development programs and performance management systems.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and facilitation techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
