Senior People Business Partner

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field and 5+yrs human resources experience, or equivalent experience/education.
• 5+ years of experience in employee relations, HR, or labor relations, including experience in managing complex employee relations issues in a global, multi-regional context, with the proven ability to provide expert Human Resources support that is normally obtained through progressively responsible HRBP experience.
• Strong understanding of international labor laws and hands on experience navigating the complexities of employee relations in different countries.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and presentation skills, with a strong ability to influence and collaborate across a diverse, global workforce.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage sensitive and complex employee relations cases with discretion and professionalism.
• Excellent planning, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills. The ability to handle competing priorities calmly under pressure and within restricted timeframes is essential.
• Strategic acumen in order to implement solutions that creatively solve complex business challenges.
• Experience using a variety of technology platforms to operate efficiently; such as AI tools (ex: Gemini).
• Ability to maximize relationships, build trust, communicate effectively is required to analyze HR issues and provide information, direction and advice as described.
• Experience supporting fundraising, sales, marketing and/or technology groups in a HRBP role.
• Experience working in a not-for-profit or public sector organization.
• Experience working with diverse, multi-cultural teams and international environments.

The Wikimedia Foundation is a remote-first organization with staff members including contractors based 40+ countries. Salaries at the Wikimedia Foundation are set in a way that is competitive, equitable, and consistent with our values and culture. The anticipated annual pay range of this position for applicants based within the United States is $94,440 to $144,776 with multiple individualized factors, including cost of living in the location, being the determinants of the offered pay. For applicants located outside of the US, the pay range will be adjusted to the country of hire. We neither ask for nor take into consideration the salary history of applicants. The compensation for a successful applicant will be based on their skills, experience and location.
