About our clinic
Nestled on the idyllic Straussee lake in Strausberg (just 45 minutes from Berlin), the Straussee Aftercare Clinic is a new rehabilitation facility for children with heart conditions or cancer and their families, as well as for adolescents and young adults. As part of the Diakonie (a Protestant social welfare organization), the Straussee Aftercare Clinic operates a modern, newly constructed clinic with a total of 160-180 beds, designed for approximately 60 sick children and their immediate families. The concept of family-oriented rehabilitation (FOR) integrates the family into the treatment process, pursuing a holistic approach that combines medical, therapeutic, and educational measures. Our highly qualified and dedicated team works interdisciplinarily – with heart and passion – to provide young patients with first-class rehabilitation. The newly accredited aftercare clinic opened in April and has been welcoming its first families ever since. For this project close to our hearts, we are looking for a motivated and competent individual to join our Human Resources department as an employee from October 1st, 2026, for 25 hours per week , contributing to making the stay as comfortable as possible for our young rehabilitation patients and their families, and ensuring optimal utilization of our rehabilitation facility.
Your tasks
- Administrative tasks in the area of personnel management, follow-up and deadline monitoring for fixed-term contracts, maternity protection, probationary period, parental leave, etc.)
- Support and advice for employees during onboarding and offboarding processes
- Preparatory payroll processing and interface to payroll accounting (tax office) as well as contact person for questions relating to income tax, social security law and collective bargaining law (on a substitute basis).
- Data capture, maintenance and quality in electronic personnel management and time recording software
- Support in creating statistics and reports
