• You perform functional tests and parameterization of protection relays and protection devices in medium-voltage systems

• You review and optimize protection settings (overcurrent, earth-fault, and distance protection) to ensure safe system operation

• You independently troubleshoot and rectify faults in protection devices and protection systems

• You analyze and document switching operations and protection trips to identify root causes of faults and malfunctions

• You perform final acceptance tests and commissioning tests on new protection systems prior to commissioning

• You prepare condition reports and develop recommendations for optimizing protection technology, working closely with engineers, technicians, and operations personnel to ensure smooth integration and maintenance of protection systems

• You have completed vocational training, further qualification as a Technician/Master Craftsman m/f/d, or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a comparable field

• You possess strong knowledge of protection and control technology, particularly in the use of protection systems for medium-voltage systems (approx. 10 kV to 36 kV and above)

• You have professional experience in protection technology, ideally in the field of medium-voltage systems
