IB MYP Design Technology Teacher (part-time)

IB MYP Design Technology Teacher (part-time) m/f/d

To start January 2027

The contract is initially limited until June 30, 2027.

The role includes teaching Grade 6 Digital Design and Grade 10 ePortfolio, requiring strong knowledge of the MYP Design framework.

Key requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Strong knowledge and experience with modelling methods and equipment (e.g., laser cutting, 3D printing, CNC machining)
• Knowledge of basic electronics, coding, app development, or VR technologies

The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, energy and drive, the highest integrity and ethical standards and a passion for teaching and learning. In addition, they should have many of the following skills and experience:

• Degree in Design, Product or Industrial Design, UX Design / Digital Media, Technology Education or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching MYP Design or equivalent design/technology curriculum
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software, rapid prototyping, 3D printing, laser cutting, and digital design tools
• In-depth knowledge of the IB MYP Design cycle, ePortfolio assessment, and constructivist learning principles
• Recent participation in relevant IB MYP Design professional development workshops
• Past experience working in an international school and with families in a multicultural environment
