The Semiconductor Nano- and Quantum Materials group at TU Berlin is looking for a motivated candidate (m/f/d) to explore intervalley scattering in one-dimensional (1D) nanowire-based photovoltaic devices. The position aims to deepen understanding of this fundamental carrier mechanism and its role in overcoming the theoretical upper limits of single-junction photovoltaic devices in power conversion efficiency. The candidate will perform optical and electrical characterization of epitaxially grown nanostructures, as well as numerical simulations. The project will be carried out in close collaboration with other group members in a highly cooperative environment at TU Berlin and the Paul-Drude-Institute (PDI) Berlin.
More information about the position can be obtained from Prof. Gregor Koblmüller (e-mail: , phone +49 30 314 21620, web: https://www.ifkp.tu-berlin.de/menue/arbeitsgruppen/agkoblmueller/)
